Full Copy of BBC's Diversity Survey

As promised, I've made a copy of the BBC's Diversity Survey so as to keep for prosterity. It's still available on line to view but the opening page says it closed. However, I'm more than happy to host your answers in the comments below for my own mirth and merriment.

Do you have views on what the BBC should be doing about equality and diversity?

We want to make the best programmes that offer something to everyone and that reflect the diversity and reality of different people's lives.
Britain.

We have developed a plan that sets out what we want to do to achieve that and how we are going to do it.

We are carrying out audience research for an understanding of what the public think about our direction.

We also want to hear from people directly about your views on our approach.

In this consultation survey we will ask you a series of questions highlighting the most important parts of our strategy.

Thank you for your contribution. The closing date for this consultation is
7th January 2011. Once we have considered the findings from the research and the consultation process we will finalise the diversity strategy and publish it in April 2011.

Head of Diversity, BBC

For us, thinking about, including and reflecting our diversity helps us tell the most original and compelling stories.

Whenever we develop new services or channels, we will make sure that everyone is able to access and enjoy them.

To help us achieve those aims, we want a workforce that is as diverse as modern

  1. Looking at the above again I found myself thinking 'I don't believe it!' - but yes I do for I have often seen something of its kind in my workplace.

Not something designed by us - but by statutory bodies. We are expected to ask residents about their sexual orientation in vey much the same way as the Beebs Diversity Study. We don't!

Please see my post of Sat/30/10/10 re the CQC and its Statutory Notification of Death. Scroll down to the Mrs Miggins bit re Section 10.

    The worlds gone mad!
